Product overview
Yfiler Plus focuses on Y-chromosome STRs, supporting assessment of male DNA in forensic mixtures and paternal-lineage applications. It adds markers to the earlier Yfiler set while retaining compatibility with the shared loci.
The six-dye kit includes seven rapidly mutating Y-STRs and supports extracted DNA as well as specified direct-amplification reference samples. Y-STR results require lineage-aware interpretation and complement autosomal evidence.
