ProFlex uses interchangeable thermal blocks to adapt PCR capacity to different laboratory workloads. The configuration listed here is the 96-well system, which can be used with appropriate validated Applied Biosystems assays.
Thermo Fisher Scientific states that the ProFlex 96-Well PCR System will be discontinued in May 2027 and names PowerFlex as its recommended replacement. Existing workflow requirements, support and supply should be reviewed before selecting a new installation.
