Product overview
PAM Test combines two established body-fluid markers in one lateral-flow cassette: prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and human alpha-amylase. Separate marker results support parallel assessment of potential seminal-fluid and saliva traces while using a shared sample extract.
The supplied PAM/40 format includes 40 cards and 50 mL dilution buffer. The manufacturer describes compatibility with acid-phosphatase screening, amylase mapping and subsequent DNA extraction and STR typing.
The test reports the presence of markers, not the circumstances in which a trace was deposited. Both proteins may occur in other body fluids, and results require the specimen context and the laboratory’s validated interpretation. A source discrepancy in PSA sensitivity is identified below.
