Product overview
AmylasePaper helps locate otherwise inconspicuous traces across a fabric or other exhibit. Its starch-based paper produces a spatial colour pattern in the presence of amylase activity, guiding selection of areas for further examination.
The A4 AMY-PS/25 kit contains 25 sheets and 50 mL iodine-potassium iodide stock solution. Larger A2 sheets are listed under AMY-PA2 in boxes of 10 or 100; confirm the selected pack and reagent supply when requesting a quotation.
This is a presumptive mapping method and is not human-specific. The manufacturer recommends human alpha-amylase testing for follow-up assessment and documents compatibility with downstream DNA analysis. The A4 photograph represents the product family and does not show the contents of every A2 configuration.
