Product overview
The panel targets the approximately 1.2 kb mitochondrial control region, including HV-I, HV-II and HV-III. Two primer pools create overlapping coverage suited to degraded DNA.
It provides a focused alternative to whole-mitochondrial-genome analysis. Compatible manual or Ion Chef preparation is followed by sequencing and Converge analysis.
