GlobalFiler NGS STR Panel v2 uses targeted sequencing to distinguish STR alleles beyond fragment length alone. Converge can display repeat sequences and relevant flanking-region variation.
The panel is designed for forensic casework and mixture analysis on compatible Ion S5 and Ion GeneStudio systems. It is distinct from GlobalFiler kits intended for capillary electrophoresis.
